Sheila K. Robello, J.D., LL.M. – Owner

Sheila Robello is the principal of Solan, Park & Robello. Ms. Robello has been licensed to practice in California since 2000 and in Hawaii since 2001. Ms. Robello specializes in Conservatorships, Trust Administration and Litigation, and Estate Planning and Surety Defense. Ms. Robello holds an LLM in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Robello is a member of Inns of Court and the Trust & Estates section of the CA Bar Association, the San Francisco Bar Association, the San Mateo Bar Association. Prior to joining Solan, Park & Robello, Ms. Robello served as an associate policy director and legislative analyst for a national non-profit organization.

Vincent K. Yu, J.D.

Vincent Yu has been licensed to practice law in California since 2014. Prior to joining Solan, Park & Robello, he was with O’Neil & Rueppel, another San Francisco Trust and Estates firm, handling both administration and litigation matters, with a litigation focus on financial elder abuse and breach of fiduciary duties.

Vincent holds a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Religious Studies from UC Riverside, and graduated from Whittier Law School with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, focusing on rights of privacy and publicity. He also holds a Certificate of Completion under the State of California Dispute Resolutions Program Act for mediation training through the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center in Los Angeles, and has helped resolve inter-family, community, and small business disputes.

When not in the office, Vincent continues his over 25 years of study of the martial arts, and occasionally takes on a private student.

Jessie Burgueño, J.D.

Jessie is an associate attorney with Solan, Park & Robello.  Jessie joined the firm in 2019 as a paralegal and has since been admitted to practice law in California.   Jessie was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended both undergraduate and law school in San Francisco.  Jessie graduated magna cum laude from Golden Gate University with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in Public Administration.

Jessie attended evening law school and is a graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law with Certificates of Specialization in Public Interest Law and Family Law.   During law school, Jessie participated in his school’s Moot Court team and competed in the 2019 National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare & Adoption Law and the 69th Annual New York City Bar Association National Moot Court Competition.  During law school, Jessie was awarded the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in both Alternative Dispute Resolution and Remedies—receiving the highest grade in his class.  Jessie received his law school’s 2019 Academic Excellence Award in Family Law.

Jessie currently serves on the board of directors for two nonprofits, the Foundation for San Mateo County Libraries, and the Palo Alto Players theatre group.  

Jessie is proficient in Spanish and currently pursuing his Master’s of Law (LLM) in Wealth Management at Texas A&M University

Arthur A. Park, J.D. – Retired

Arthur A. Park is retired to the firm and head of the Probate Practice Group. Mr. Park is a native San Franciscan and attended local schools and the University of California at Berkeley. He graduated from the Georgetown Law Center and following service as a trial attorney with the Federal Maritime Commission in Washington D.C., has maintained a practice in San Francisco since 1968.

Mr. Park has extensive estate planning experience, including the drafting of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. He has been involved in the establishment or administration of over 300 conservatorships and has acted in the capacity as attorney for the conservator, the proposed conservatee and interested third parties.

Kevin M. Solan, J.D. – Retired

Kevin M. Solan is retired to the firm and heads the firm’s civil litigation and surety defense practices. Mr. Solan has been a trial attorney since his appointment in 1972 as an Assistant District Attorney in New York, NY. He served for 10 years and gained trial experience under the most demanding circumstances. He was a member of the Fraud and Major Felony Offense Bureaus under District Attorneys Frank Hogan and Robert Morganthau and tried numerous jury trials to verdict.

In 1982, Mr. Solan left the District Attorney’s office and took his skills to the civil arena, expanding his trial experience in the defense of professional liability claims. After relocating to San Francisco in 1984, Mr. Solan has focused his practice on representing fidelity insurers, sureties, banks, and general contractors. Mr. Solan received a Bachelor’s of Science degree magna cum laude from Fordham University in 1968 and his law degree from Georgetown University of Law Center in 1972.

Laura I. Marquez Orta – Paralegal

Laura obtained her law degree from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. Following law school she worked for the Venezuelan Court and then became a prosecutor before moving to France in 2015. Laura joined Solan, Park & Robello as a paralegal in May of 2018 and will be working to become licensed as a U.S. attorney. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and dancing. She is also fluent in French and Spanish.

Cecil Martinez – Paralegal

Cecil H. Martinez rejoined the firm in May of 2019 after taking several years off in the legal world. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate. During law school, Cecil was a co-founder of the schools environmental law caucus and participated in the criminal defender program. Cecil is involved in several businesses that deal directly in the agriculture community and has been showing and breeding Arabian horses on the national level with his family for the last 40 years.  In his spare time, he enjoys anything that has to do with nature or a nice trip to a good museum.

Caroline Hynote – Legal Assistant 

Caroline Hynote has a B.A. in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Irvine, and graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2020 with a Certificate in Intellectual Property and Technology Law. Caroline has experience with in-house legal teams, as well as law firms in both in the United States and Italy. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending her time with her dog, Maya.

Yamiletzy Garcia – Legal Assistant 

Yamiletzy received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice Studies from San Francisco State University in 2020. During her undergraduate career she spent time volunteering for non-profit organizations, local labor unions and has experience working in the San Francisco Juvenile Justice System as a Judicial Extern. She is fluent in Spanish. Yamiletzy enjoys hiking and gardening in her free time.
