Sheila K. Robello, J.D., LL.M. – Owner

Sheila Robello is the principal of Solan, Park & Robello. Ms. Robello has been licensed to practice in California since 2000 and in Hawaii since 2001. Ms. Robello specializes in Conservatorships, Trust Administration and Litigation, and Estate Planning and Surety Defense. Ms. Robello holds an LLM in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Robello is a member of Inns of Court and the Trust & Estates section of the CA Bar Association, the San Francisco Bar Association, the San Mateo Bar Association. Prior to joining Solan, Park & Robello, Ms. Robello served as an associate policy director and legislative analyst for a national non-profit organization.

Kevin Lachona, J.D., LL.M. – Associate Attorney

Mr. Lachona is an associate attorney focusing on trust administration, conservatorships, decedent’s estates, and various estate planning needs. He received a J.D. with honors from Golden Gate University in 2012, and went on to receive an LL.M. in Taxation, with honors, in 2013.  Prior to joining Solan, Park & Robello, Mr. Lachona was a volunteer attorney with the San Francisco Probate Court.

Kevin focuses his practice on helping individuals and families through times of need. Kevin prides himself in providing his clients with the best legal advice and counseling. When not practicing law, Kevin enjoys bread making, beer brewing, and traveling.

Reina R. Killen, J.D., LL.M. – Associate Attorney

Ms. Killen’s practice focuses on Estate Planning, Trust and Estate Administration, and Conservatorships. Following a general civil litigation and transactional practice, Ms. Killen obtained her second law degree, a master of laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, in order to practice exclusively in the trust and estate field.

With people working their entire lives to provide for their loved ones, Reina considers it a privilege to assist clients with matters that are so personal and can so profoundly impact not only their loved ones’ lives, but also their own.

Ms. Killen earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and her LL.M. (with honors) from Golden Gate University School of Law.

As an Oakland native, Reina enjoys giving back to her community which includes tutoring young adults toward obtaining their G.E.D. degrees and volunteering on the crisis hotline for suicide, Child Protective Services (“CPS”), Adult Protective Services (“APS”) and homeless issues. In her spare time, Reina’s passions are home remodeling, cooking, swimming, camping, and weekend getaways with her boyfriend.

Natalie M. Lupo, J.D., LL.M. – Associate Attorney

Ms. Lupo’s practice focuses on conservatorships, trust administration and litigation, and estate planning. Prior to joining Solan, Park & Robello, Ms. Lupo was a forceful advocate for plaintiffs at a prominent personal injury firm in San Francisco. She frequently appeared in Court and handled all aspects of trial preparation, gaining a strong litigation skill set and building meaningful relationships with clients.

Ms. Lupo earned her Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law. She returned to Golden Gate University School of Law to obtain her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law.

Ms. Lupo enjoys connecting with her clients and coworkers and seeks to bring positive energy wherever she goes.

Shannon L. Hardin, J.D., LL.M. – Of Counsel

Ms. Hardin serves as Of Counsel with Solan, Park & Robello. Ms. Hardin’s practice focuses on estate planning, trust and decedent’s estate administration, probate, and incapacity planning. Her estate planning practice includes the preparation of revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, special needs trusts, charitable trusts, and counseling on family wealth transfer. Her administration practice includes estate and trust administration, post-mortem tax planning, and gift and estate tax return preparation.

Ms. Hardin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with high honors, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law.

Ms. Hardin is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

In addition to being Of Counsel to Solan, Park & Robello, Ms. Hardin has her own law practice, with offices in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, which emphasizes estate planning, trust administration and probate.

Arthur A. Park, J.D. – Of Counsel

Arthur A. Park is of counsel to the firm and head of the Probate Practice Group. Mr. Park is a native San Franciscan and attended local schools and the University of California at Berkeley. He graduated from the Georgetown Law Center and following service as a trial attorney with the Federal Maritime Commission in Washington D.C., has maintained a practice in San Francisco since 1968.

Mr. Park has extensive estate planning experience, including the drafting of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. He has been involved in the establishment or administration of over 300 conservatorships and has acted in the capacity as attorney for the conservator, the proposed conservatee and interested third parties.

Kevin M. Solan, J.D. – Of Counsel

Kevin M. Solan is of counsel to the firm and heads the firm’s civil litigation and surety defense practices. Mr. Solan has been a trial attorney since his appointment in 1972 as an Assistant District Attorney in New York, NY. He served for 10 years and gained trial experience under the most demanding circumstances. He was a member of the Fraud and Major Felony Offense Bureaus under District Attorneys Frank Hogan and Robert Morganthau and tried numerous jury trials to verdict.

In 1982, Mr. Solan left the District Attorney’s office and took his skills to the civil arena, expanding his trial experience in the defense of professional liability claims. After relocating to San Francisco in 1984, Mr. Solan has focused his practice on representing fidelity insurers, sureties, banks and general contractors.

Mr. Solan received a Bachelor’s of Science degree magna cum laude from Fordham University in 1968 and his law degree from Georgetown University of Law Center in 1972.

Joseph Hunter – Paralegal

Joseph Hunter is a paralegal with the firm. He has a background working on Elder Abuse cases and brings a mindset of ensuring the well-being of clients and their loved ones. Outside of work, he’s a serial hobbyist, currently trying out table tennis, chess, and (watching) sumo wrestling.

Laura I. Marquez Orta – Paralegal

Laura obtained her law degree from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. Following law school she worked for the Venezuelan Court and then became a prosecutor before moving to France in 2015. Laura joined Solan, Park & Robello as a paralegal in May of 2018 and will be working to become licensed as a U.S. attorney. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and dancing. She is also fluent in French and Spanish.
